Sales Representative
We are currently recruiting for an Advertising Sales Manager to lead our multi-media advertising sales operation in Greensboro, NC. This position will be responsible for managing, coaching, training and motivating a team of advertising sales professionals. A proven track record of successfully achieving sales goals and driving new business development is required. This position requires leading by example and spending 90% of your time in the field.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Will be responsible for new business development, creativity and innovation to generate profitable revenue growth through print advertising and Internet advertising.
• Will lead everyday training and coaching efforts to maximize sales performances.
• Conduct performance reviews and help train the sales executives on how to build and execute action plans for themselves as well as effective marketing plans for their clients. Will work with sales executives to ensure standards of performance are met.
• Conduct effective, energizing sales meetings. Set the example for the team with organizational, selling and closing skills. Maintain contact and close relationships with all clients in the field to ensure satisfactory performance of our programs.
• We’re looking for someone with a deep knowledge of running a sales team along with a passion for the digital area of our business. Solid communications, organizational and planning skills are required.
• A demonstrated track record of sales management experience preferably in the media business (Internet, magazine, broadcast, newspaper etc.) is required.
• Hours are 8 am – 6 pm; Monday – Friday.
